Located on the 6th floor of the Research Pavilion at the Vancovuer General Hospital site of Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute, the Muscle Biophysics Laboratory is ideally located to investigate muscle performance using techniques that range from in-vitro skinned fibre preparation, isolated vessel preparation to analysis of immunohistochemical features of skeletal muscle.
The Rehabilitation Aimed at Muscle Performance (RAMP) Team, centered from the Muscle Biophysics Laboratory, enables ready access to a variety of clinical research venues that provid opportunity to perform studies that span the spectrum from to knowledge translation studies, cross-cultural issues and community exercise programs.
